Do you ever feel uncertain about your future? The people or things that will play a part there? What role might each play? Might these things influence your daily dealings as well as your feelings? How will all progress in the best manner especially when you seem to be out-of-step with the outcome sought?
Do you recognize the value of stillness? Do you also know why it is necessary to understand its value? In the busyness found within the day, seek also a means to disengage. You see, mental chatter distracts. It moves you from what might otherwise be. And so when you recognize this, move to stillness. Move in concert with all that might be when you slow and redirect the mind.
So often, these mental meanderings will engage to take you off-course. And so, observe, redirect, and still the mind to maintain present moment awareness.
When there are changes underfoot, life moves in a manner sometimes unpreferred. What are your choices as you move about in your day? This is when you reflect on those unwanted things that have appeared before you. Those things that are seemingly anchored to your life, being, and world. How might you move so they might become redirected to flow differently than before? What might be done?
Do you wonder why there is such a need to define each and everything that comes into view? Whether it is good or bad, necessary or not, purposeful or not, and so it goes. Do you realize in your assessment of each thing, you diminish other roles this thing could play within your life? Do you seek to limit each in this way or is its diminishment unintentional?
And so we move to discuss ego, and its continuing role and purpose in this time. What does ego do and how does it serve you as its host? Does it protect and provide a degree of certainty in this uncertain world or does its scope affect you differently today? You see, ego was devised so there might be a protector in one's midst when the saber-toothed cat traveled about to pounce upon those whose path it has crossed ...
